Preparing for Your Whitewater Rafting Costa Rica Adventure:
Footwear: This is critical! You must wear secure, closed-toe footwear such as old sneakers or water shoes. No flip-flops or loose sandals are allowed for safety.
Clothing: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a Towel and a Change of Clothes (dry) for after the adventure.
Sun Protection: Bring Sunscreen (lotion-based only, please) to apply before you hit the water, as spray sunscreens are discouraged for boat/deck use.
Camera: Bring a Camera (waterproof or with a waterproof case) to capture your adventure before and after the rafting run.
Sense of Adventure: Most importantly, bring an excellent sense of adventure—you’ll need it for the Class III & IV rapids!
